Giuseppe Barcella founded "Mobili Barcella" in the late 1950s, a company specialized in the production of wooden furniture for the radio industry. In the first decade of the 1960s, BM began to produce thermoplastic components and, in the late 1990s, BM became a global supplier by opening a production facility in Poland and Mexico. The wood division was closed in 2000 and from this point on BM is fully involved in plastic injection molding. Innovative technologies are being used, both in the molding process (for example, with RHCM technology) and in the automation of production lines. In 2011, BM entered the automotive sector, which now covers 50% of the turnover. MISSION BM's goal is to provide and develop the entire product supply chain, with experience and dedication, offering the best cooperation for the design of new products and processes according to customer needs. Researching new materials and molding technologies allows BM to remain competitive, offering the customer new development opportunities. BM's global presence guarantees the opportunity to buy low-cost tools and produce in low-labor cost areas.
